Andreas
Rakopoulos

Born in Athens in 1974, Andreas was introduced to sailing at an early age through the Yacht Club of Greece, progressing from Optimist and 420 classes to offshore yachts, where he developed a refined understanding of seamanship and performance.

From a young age, he obtained his Speed Boat License and Yachtmaster qualification, gaining extensive experience as a skipper on private and charter vessels. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and an MA in Information Systems Management, blending practical maritime expertise with structured project oversight and technical proficiency.

Since joining PRAXIS YACHTS as a partner in 2004, Andreas has played a central role in project coordination, owner representation, and the delivery of bespoke, high-quality yachting solutions defined by precision, reliability, and discretion.

Antonis
Dimitrakopoulos

A lifelong yachtsman and entrepreneur, Antonis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering but chose to follow his passion for yachting, introducing leading international shipyards to the Greek market and setting new standards in yacht sales and client service.

With hands-on experience in the industry from 1988 to 1992, he founded PRAXIS YACHTS in 1992, quickly establishing the company as a trusted name in the international yachting community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Antonis is a licensed single-engine aircraft pilot, an avid scuba diver, and a passionate restorer of classic motorbikes, with a collection of six Yamaha XT 500 enduro bikes. He brings the same dedication, precision, and attention to detail to PRAXIS YACHTS as he does to all his personal pursuits.
